Horseshoe Bay on the North Shore
Horseshoe Bay is the North Shore terminal for Sunshine Coast and Bowen Island travel, with route availability and sailing instructions confirmed through BC Ferries. From YVR or the Fraser Valley, the road journey crosses the metropolitan area before reaching the terminal.
Do not plan by city name alone
Both terminals are branded as Vancouver terminals, but they are far apart. Always send the exact sailing terminal rather than simply requesting a ride to “the ferry.”
Build the Pickup Around the Sailing Check-In Window
Check-in requirements depend on the route, terminal, booking and passenger type. Do not apply one terminal's cutoff to another sailing. Check the official Tsawwassen terminal instructions or Horseshoe Bay terminal instructions, then send the requirement shown for your booking with your transfer request.
Because those rules can change, Destiny does not use one generic “arrive 30 minutes early” promise. We work backward from the sailing information you provide and recommend leaving room for road traffic, baggage and terminal processing.
Airport, Hotel and Home Connections
YVR to Tsawwassen
This is the most common airport-to-sailing connection. Flight arrival time and baggage collection must leave enough room before terminal check-in closes.
Downtown to Horseshoe Bay
A hotel or residence pickup can be coordinated for North Shore sailings. Downtown traffic and bridge conditions can change the comfortable departure time.
Terminal pickup after arrival
For arriving foot passengers, provide the sailing and a mobile number. The chauffeur can coordinate the pickup once the party is off the vessel and ready to leave.

A reserved vehicle is most useful when the sailing is connected to another fixed-time trip: an arriving flight, a hotel checkout, a medical appointment, a family visit or a long onward drive. The chauffeur is not replacing the sailing reservation; the job is to get the passenger to the correct terminal with enough usable time to complete BC Ferries check-in.
For an airport connection, send both the flight number and sailing. For a home or property pickup, use the full street address because travel time can vary considerably across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. For an arriving sailing, add a mobile number so the pickup can be coordinated after passengers are actually off the vessel.

Terminal Transfers, Delays and Your Quote
Confirm where the ride ends
This booking is for road transportation to or from the named mainland terminal. Ferry tickets and a vehicle-and-chauffeur crossing to the island are not included unless specifically confirmed. For an accompanied crossing or an island destination, request a separate assessment of availability, sailing costs and service time.
When the sailing changes
Give us the revised sailing information so pickup can be adjusted around the new arrival. Contact us when the carrier cancels a sailing or moves your party to another terminal. After disembarking, let the chauffeur know when everyone and their luggage are ready at the agreed meeting point.
Send the pickup address, terminal, route, sailing date and time, passenger count and bag details. A YVR-to-Tsawwassen connection also needs the flight number; a downtown-to-Horseshoe Bay trip needs the hotel or residence address. Requested stops, extra waiting and a changed destination can affect the total. Any waiting or schedule-change charges follow the confirmed booking terms; unlimited waiting is not included.
There is no fuel surcharge for terminal transfers within Metro Vancouver or the Fraser Valley. Island travel or another long-distance itinerary requires its own quote. Road delays or a disrupted sailing can affect an onward flight, so a particular connection cannot be guaranteed.
