Flat-rate transportation works best when the trip has a defined pickup and destination. The quote is built around the requested vehicle and route rather than a taxi meter. That makes it easier to compare the cost before deciding whether a sedan, SUV or Sprinter fits the trip.
The published examples are starting points, not a promise that every address in the region costs the same. A pickup in Downtown Vancouver is different from an address in the Fraser Valley, and a direct transfer is different from an itinerary with extra stops or waiting.
For a return trip, enter both legs rather than assuming the outbound fare applies in reverse. Pickup time, terminal procedures and the second address can change the trip requirements even when the route looks similar on a map.
